Friends, Fans, Fellow music lovers...The Rigg are back!

It has been over 8 months since the band finished touring, following the release of 'Golden Handshake'. A very well received song, going down a storm everywhere we went in both England & Scotland. Since then, everything had to go on hold due to a serious illness to bass player Simon Miller's better half, Nerolie.

Everything has thankfully worked out well, after having undergone many consultations and a big operation. The band would like to wish Nerolie all the best for her continuing recovery, as well as congratulations to her and Simon on their engagement. For those interested this made local and national news, the pick being Simon's proposal... http://www.cosmopolitan.co.uk/your-life/cosmopolitan-magazine-proposal/v1

Whilst we've been away, drummer Rob Kidd has also been busy. Firstly we have seen the birth of his first child, the beautiful Luciana, who incidentally is considerably better looking than her father. Also, he has tied the knot with the love of his life, Rosa. The band would also like to take this opportunity to wish the Kidd family all the best for the future.

The Rigg will begin discussions in the forthcoming weeks about potential gigs for the second half of the year. If you're a promoter, venue or anyone looking to put on some form of cracking live music extravaganza, please get in touch.

All the best, hope to so you soon
